Gummies!
I took some time to capture some images of gummy bears. Why? Because it’s been on my mind for quite a while. You see I got this idea stuck in my head of how I wanted to light them so I had to try it.
Keeping myself creative means creating personal challenges and making them happen. Shooting personal projects helps me explore new ideas on lighting, composing, or even editing photography.
On this particular one, I wanted to make the gummy bears glow, so I decided to light them from below over an acrylic sheet. They are tricky little things so getting some shadows and shape out of them was a bit of a challenge. I used a bare flash head to light them from above and get strong highlights.
